We visited this cool place right before having dinner at Katanna. This was suppose to be our happy hour before the Christmas Dinner. We all had a couple of drinks (we all meaning, I sipped water and watched everyone else). Anyway, the bartender was really nice and accommodating and didn't give me a hard time for only drinking water.
The set up was really nice, we hung around the bar area but there are places to sit if you come as a family or happen to be staying in the hotel in which the bar is located. This is also a good place to come watch a game or two as they have tv's set up all around. I didn't get a chance to order food, but it's definitely on my list of places to revisit.
Just a short little tidbit...because it was during the Christmas holiday the chef had prepared a lot of gingerbread and actually constructed a gingerbread house. It smelled delightful. There was also a contest to guess how many squares of gingerbread it took to construct the house. I guessed...but I am still waiting on that call, that says I won, lol. -

Guys, I really wanted to be able to give you a strong 3.5 but really after the experience I am more in the 2.5 range. Rounded to 3 instead of 2. Why?
Food ok. 3 range overall. Uninspired beer selection really, $14 for a martini? (Did not order). 32 minutes to get entree.(told 20 and was fine with that). Then literally 22 minutes to get a slice of cake to go.
54 plus minutes in waiting with maybe 10 minutes eating.
Place not crowded.
Had the fear of eating "at the hotel" and sadly it came true.
Next time if I stay in I will get a burger from room service. -

The food is very good, the drinks are a bit pricey. The beers are $8-10 and only 10 ounces (think juice glass plus two
It is the Marriott, customer service is good. The night I was there it seemed like they were understaffed and not ready for the rush of people that came in the restaurant. I'm gonna count that as a one off.
Titos and soda, $12 each. It's a nice Marriott restaurant and what you would expect. -

Right before our holiday party down the street, we stopped at the bar in the Marriott, the Lenox Road Bar & Grill, and grabbed some drinks. We parked at dinner and then walked up Lenox Road to the Marriott.
We had an open tab and the relatively quiet bar (I mean, it was 4pm on a Thursday afternoon) had no wait. The bartender was nice, although maybe a little deaf since I asked for a gin and tonic and he poured me a nice tall glass of tonic... I was wondering why the gin was so light! I told him and he fixed it real quick. I ended up drinking my gin and tonic while sipping on some tonic on the side to make sure I didn't get drunk before dinner heh.
Their red wine selection seemed a bit sparse. I wanted a Pinot but found the only brand they had was the one I did NOT like when I bought it from Costco (Meiomi?). I ended up getting a second gin and tonic.
Overall, the bar has a wide open space for those hanging out by the bar - makes for a great happy hour spot. It was clean and had some light seating available for that quick drink before the rest of the night. -

This place rocks. Chef Richard Green is as passionate about his craft as any chef I have ever met. We eat in a LOTS of hotel restaurants all over the country and and this one is stellar. We had 1/2 dozen meals over a couple of days and there was nothing we were disappointed in. The Grouper special was the best fish I have ever eaten. Best cornbread in the world. Doug is also a great server. Also best peach cobbler ever. Never felt we needed to even leave the hotel to grab a bite.
Forgot about The AMAZING LAMB SHANK!!!
